Georgia artist Tom Horner is a versatile musician, singer, and songwriter who has shared the stage with a cast of Country legends including B. J. Thomas, Hank Williams Jr., Donna Fargo, and Reba McEntire. For two consecutive years, Tom won first place awards in Billboard Magazine’s Annual Song Contest, and he also earned a "WC Handy" nomination award and a "Song Of The Year" award from The Southern Songwriter's Guild. Tom writes in the Theatrical, Dramatic, Blues, RnB, Country, Rock, and Jazz genres, and his credits include major films, network TV, and worldwide radio.
Tom and noted playwright A. Michael Storm have collaborated on several musicals, plays with music, and a children's animated story. Co-producer Emmitt Thrower of Broadway Babies' leadership fame is currently working closely with Tom and A. Michael on the development of their finished work. One such work is "Prevailing," which is a powerfully moving and emotionally charged play about child abuse based on the book "The Razor And The Mirror" by Christian Michelle Dickerson. "Saturday Night Specials" is another Horner-Storm collaboration about an interesting group of troubled teenagers who are all given the choice to redeem and to pay for their past bad behavior - in lieu of legal confinement - by spending every Saturday night for one year with a young and very caring priest. Director Leon Caine will be directing this "soon to be on Broadway" exciting musical. Tom's music and A. Michael Storm's stories and lyrics are paving the way for hit show expectations.
