Matt Frazier’s is a US artist, songwriter, and producer. His music resonates with provocative passion and rhythmic vitality. He swims with ease in the mingled waters of Pop, Rock, Americana, and World Music. Matt’s background in music includes an undergraduate degree in music theory and a master’s degree in commercial music. He sometimes explores a composition style incorporating “found audio objects” by injecting sounds originally intended for one purpose into a new context.
Matt Frazier performed as a drummer and recorded as a multi-instrumentalist for several years in Los Angeles and around the country. Matt has composed music for the Bravo TV network, led workshops for songwriters and musicians, and traveled to study the music of other cultures. Several of his songs have been recorded and released by other artists. He has written for TapeOp magazine and presented at SXSW Music. Matt maintains an active composing and recording schedule in the Pacific Northwest.
