About half of AorphiA's music was written while he was living in the greater New Orleans Metro area. Two days before Hurricane Katrina made landfall on the Gulf Coast, AorphiA left and eventually found himself relocating to North Mississippi. After AorphiA relocated he began to write even more music, which resulted in "The Age of Awakening". AorphiA continues to be creative with new surroundings of influence and inspiration.
