Bradley Banks is a multi-instrumentalist who composes, performs and records all elements of his music. His songs contain organic and electronic instrumentation and moods ranging from frantic and upbeat to somber, pensive and melancholy. His eclectic music reflects his vast experience from playing violin and percussion in orchestras to performing in seedy NYC punk rock venues. Bradley strives to create music that is sonically unique often with mangled, distorted sounds and unconventionally coupled instrumentation to make your project STAND OUT!
Bradley Banks has been playing music for the majority of his life, and currently plays bass for various New York City bands. He has performed in a wide range of settings from playing violin and percussion in orchestras to singing and playing in clubs all around New York City.
Bradley's studio is filled with a variety of instruments and both new and vintage (circa 1950s) pieces of analog recording gear. Most of the microphone pre-amps, microphones and compressors he uses were built, designed or refurbished by Bradley, himself. He uses many homemade distortion pedals and modified compressors to achieve a unique sonic palette.
Instrumental build that starts with palm muted chords then the full band kicks in, to a full-on onslaught climax. Perfect for some kind of introduction, or cinematic build. Very action adventure film oriented, could be great for a car chase or car commercial or action montage. Instrumental, Rock, Hard Rock
Starts with a triumphant and epic guitar and synthesizer progression then settles into a sparse beat and builds tension from there. It has a futuristic vibe. There is distortion and electronic sounds sprinkled throughout. Good for a apocalyptic, space movie. reminds me of Thunder Road by Tortoise, Instrumental, Rock, Electronic Rock
This is a sneering tune that would be perfect to introduce a tough character. The drums are heavy and the bass is loud and distorted. The second half of the song launches into an epic melody with 2 electric guitars and the song gets huge! Instrumental, Rock, Hard Rock
This song was written to sound like "We got the Beat" by the Go-Go's. It has a similar lead hook and building part and similar piano stabs. Really a fun song with a pretty epic interpretation of the chorus. Could be perfect for a car chase or action scene. Instrumental, Rock, 80s Rock
