Chi Duly is a record producer based out of NYC, Phoenix, and hometown Portland, OR. He is best known for his work with platinum selling rap group, Nappy Roots (for the ‘07 album Innerstate Music). Much of his work can be heard on DJ DMA's ongoing mixtape series. Also In '07, he landed 2 beats with Adidas for their "Impossible Is Nothing" campaign.
Throughout the endeavors of the past two years, much of his time was spent traveling up and down the east coast crafting female pop records in such studios as The Cutting Room NYC (Whitney Houston, Red Hot Chilli Peppers) and Mastersound VA Beach where he was priveledged to shadow the legendary engineer Robert Ulsh (Timbaland, Neptunes). On the current front, Chi Duly is behind two songs for Arizona's most highly publicized music sensation Silver Medallion, three for the Pras-cosigned songstress Cassie Simone (twice featured on the Alpha Dog Soundtrack '07), and two for pop/rock/soul singer Alexandra Govere (lead writer at Krucial Keys Ent, founded by Alicia Keys and producer Krucial).
In between these projects Chi Duly stays competitive and relevant by dropping remixes now and again at you tube back slash chi duly.
Dance record with an electro feel to it. Fun melody but also contains elements of a "somebody's watchin' me" type of eerie vibe. This could be an anthem type production.
