Andrew Gleibman (Science Fiction Tracks)Home: Yokneam-Illit, Israel Andrew Gleibman is a virtuosic pianist-improvisor, composer and producer from Israel. His early music was influenced by Liszt, Scriabin, Prokofiev and Shostakovich. His latest music is more close to post-impressionism and sometimes reflects scientific insights, related to his profession as a mathematician. The music is an exuberant, emotional, mystical, meditative and melodic combination of ambient noises with classical instruments. Some tracks exhibit super-virtuosic and humorous piano passages. |

Awards for Andrew Gleibman: Three of Andrew's pieces, "Christmas Toys Fighting" (musical joke-ballet), "Sweet Dream" (6th mov. of Mystical Suite), and "Quiet Waves of Solaris," were awarded with "Collective Works" placement in the most prestigious "Song of the Year" contest in 2010. Some of Andrews tracks contain an ironic humor, while others are so tense and chilling they scream Psyco-Madness, Horror and Terror for scenes where everything comes unglued.
