Rick Ivanoff (Acoustic Tracks)Home: Toronto, Ontario Canada Rick Ivanoff's greatest passion is songwriting. Born in Canada but growing up in California, he draws from his life experiences to create songs that touch the full range of emotions in the styles of Pop, Rock, Easy Listening, Country, Folk, and Rock. He has performed live on television in Toronto and across Canada. He is also a composer of instrumental tracks that are featured in several high-end music libraries. Since 1978, Rick has been involved in the music industry as a songwriter, performer, producer, jingle writer, and composer. |

Rick’s songs have been recorded by different artists and used in television shows and film. His influences include such great harmony bands as The Byrds, The Eagles, Blue Rodeo, Poco, Buffalo Springfield, Firefall, CSNY, Alison Krauss and Union Station. Rick has worked and recorded with such great artists and musicians as Michael Fonfara (Foreigner, Lou Reed, Downchild Blues Band), Joe Mavety (Maryanne Faithful, Joe Cocker), Rick Gratton (Rough Trade, Ian Thomas), Joe Agnello (Cameo Blues Band, David Wilcox), Tony Lester (Boys Brigade, Arson) and many others. Rick lives in Selwyn, Ontario with his wife Jeanette. He performs locally and also composes instrumental music tracks for film, TV, commercials and other media. His great love however is song writing, and he continues to write and record new songs. He is also recording and releasing previously written songs that have never been recorded; until now! His first album titled “A Collection” was released in 2009 and is available on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, etc. and he is currently recording original songs for a 2nd and 3rd album while releasing new songs regularly to all streaming/download sites. |
