Danah, defined "as bright as day", has begun to shine and is deeply focused on carving a niche on the world's Contemporary Spiritual/Pop arena, taking their music to all those who "experience the same emotions". Most cuts are produced with acoustic/electric guitar, synth/keyboards, bass, and varied percussion. Danah's lead soprano voice is crystal clear and very engaging. Together their vocals provide a youthful, plaintive texture. She is a very communicative singer. This is a good Spiritual/Pop project that may find its most avid listeners among youth. Several tunes are especially good. "Smile" is a strong with intense instrumental and vocal energy. "Free" - another good song - has some remarkable vocals. Listening under earphones makes you feel like you're in the original studio session. Like most of the project, it's simply but well produced without being overdone. "God Has Given Us" another title on the album features some very hip, contemporary guitar and percussion production values. |
