One of Treger's songs is featured alongside a Lyle Lovett song in the motion picture soundtrack of "Nice Guys Sleep Alone.


Mitch Treger and The Emptys (Mitch Treger) songs have been featured on AWARE Records AWARE II Compilation rand in various TV and Film media, including the soundtrack for Curb Distribution/Lunacy Productions Film, "Nice Guys Sleep Alone" where one of Treger's songs is featured alongside a Lyle Lovett song. Treger has shared the stage with the Ramones, Hootie & the Blowfish, Jewel, MOE & countless other notable international acts.
Treger's band, the Emptys, features multi-instrumentalist Doug Derryberry, who has played with Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20), Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers & has worked with artists such as John Mayer, Vertical Horizon, the Dave Matthews Band, Ben Folds, O. A. R., Edwin McCain, The Disco Biscuits, Mandy Moore, and others.
The Emptys' album "Loveversesnothing" was engineered, tracked, mixed and/or co-produced by Doug Derryberry and/or Jon Altschiller. Notably, Altschiller has worked with acts such as Phish, Warren Haynes, Bruce Springsteen, Simon & Garfunkel, and engineered and/or mixed many commercials, and music for film and video games like Shrek II, Fantastic Four, Pepsi, Kohl's, Grand Theft Auto, and Midnight Club.
