Trixie Taipan has been hiding at the foot of the ethereal Mount Wellington in Tasmania, dreaming up songs and capturing them like fragile butterflies in a net of silk filaments. Worshipping beauty in all its manifestations, she creates sounds of desire for curious ears. Trixie recently travelled north to the warmth, closer to the hot lights of Sydney, and continues composing soundtracks for people's edgy fantasies. She is a classically trained vocalist and piano player, with a deep fascination with computers and modern music technology. Enjoy the World of Trixie Taipan!


In addition to Trixie Taipan's hot vocals and piano playing, she is a Pro Audio engineer and a self-confessed musical software freak. She is often found manifesting her exciting music with the spontaneity of mushrooms in the forest after a rainfall. Trixie's influences include Tina Turner, Nina Simone, Prince, Angelique Kidjo, The Black Eyed Peas, Eddie Van Halen, The Doors, Grace Jones, Madonna, Herbie Hancock, and many other icons.
