Lloyd English and Sia Samimi are two virtuosic guitarists that have developed a truly original international sound. Sia brings a rich Persian musical legacy through his guitar, while Lloyd has excelled as an improvisational player in every genre from Rock to Jazz during a performance career spanning 30 years. When these two nylon string guitars meet it is not only beautiful to listen to but a cultural experience for the ears as well. Lloyd English & Sia Samimi have performed live concerts together as a duo, and with standup bass, backup vocalists and violinist. They also continue their musical careers in other venues, Lloyd as a jazz guitarist with a trio or quartet, and Sia as a solo performer in the Persian folk style.
