With a career spanning 30 years, Jasen Shawn Smith is a classically-trained US composer who creates everything from Dramatic Orchestral music to World, World Beat, Hard Rock, and Pop. You've heard Jasen's music in various hit TV shows, such as Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, American Pickers, Teen Mom, Diagnose Me, E! News Live, and Nickelodeon Ultimate Halloween Haunted House. Jasen has released two CDs under the name Sonic Psyops, which have both charted high. Jasen deftly applies his Classical style to all genres.

Jasen's style can best be described as Classical with a Contemporary flare. His emphasis on melody and counterpoint is a rarity in today's world filled with sound designs and "ready-made" moods although Jasen's music can certainly accommodate any need for simple ambiance and atmospheres. He has composed music in a wide array of genres to include: Classical, Chamber, Orchestral, Christmas, World, World Pop, New Age, Hard Rock, Goth Rock, Soft Rock, Synth Pop, Swing, Film Score, and Piano solos. Each of his tracks has a minimum of four and a maximum ten edits with some tracks having a piano arrangement. Jasen treats each edit as an individual instead of just copy and paste from the root track.
