Jerry was born a slave in the Ottoman Empire. He was smuggled out on a shipment of dates. Somehow, he landed in Buffalo, NY and spent the next 30 years in a basement. The music of the legends Fats Waller and Scott Joplin was his cure and his piano was the only contact he had with the human world. One day, Jerry emerged into the light. Blinded by the sun, yet driven on by primitive instincts assigned others of his kind, Jerry discovered the internet where he became the Emmy winning star of It's Jerry Time, which documents his halting attempts to fit in with modern society.
Jerry Zucker, the brainchild behind "It's Jerry Time," is an Emmy winning writer and composer who joins us from Massachusetts. His music often accompanies his animated web series, providing some fun old-time piano music with an edgy sense of humor. Jerry Time's music sneaks up on you and tickles your funny bone with its campy little ironies at every turn. Bits of the music are perfect for ringtones, kids cartoons, romcom, parody and other quirky situations, and excels at accompanying fun or funny material, retro commercials or for sitcom themes.
This two part segway/song opens with what sounds like a funny, broken-down Salvation Army band marching in from a distance. You hear a tuba, and bass drum, then a piano. It's a slow, cartoon song with a beat that keeps getting closer. Part two repeats the Pt. 1 melody except with a piano solo. Instrumental, Circus, Clown Music
