Currently based in Los Angeles, Fernando Diez was raised in France in a Spanish family, and he became heavily influenced by the Latin music of his Spanish parentage and by the African and Middle Eastern music scenes in Paris. On top of heavily studying traditional World percussion, he also studied Jazz, Rock, RnB, and Pop styles, and has trained, performed, and recorded all over Europe, Africa, Cuba, and the U.S. Constantly in demand for his dramatic drumming style, Fernando recently toured with Cirque du Soleil's Alegria and Kooza shows.
Fernando Diez has worked with: Cirque Du Soleil (Alegria and Kooza) Rhythm Slam performances with Percussion-Stomp-Dance Group, Marta Santararia & Viajem, Latin Pop with Thania Sanz, RnB with Howard Hewitt, New Flamenco with Luis Villegas, Fusion with One Tribe Nation, Pop with Ellee Ven, and Jazz with Eldad Tarmu. Back to his Latin roots, Fernando has performed Latin Pop with Marisela.
