French artist Elena Jegalina began her career as a Classical clarinetist, but the intense desire for freedom of expression led her to a big change in direction. After her conservatory training, she took up the alto saxophone and ventured into Jazz, Soul, and Blues, where she drew on influences such as James Brown, John Coltrane, and Miles Davis. In addition to frequent live performances in Paris, she enjoys much success writing music for documentaries, cartoons, and films. Elena's diverse composing ability spans many genres, including Pop, Electronic, Funk, Rock, and Dramatic.
