Italian artist Charlie Valli writes passionate vocal and instrumental music in the Pop, Rock, Electronic, Alternative, and Dance genres, among others. He received his Master’s Degree as an “Engineer in Interactive Music for Digital Arts” from the Italian Institute for Advanced Musical Studies, and began his career working as a sound designer for clients such as BMW, Mini, Vodafone, and Mondadori. Today, Charlie concentrates on composing for TV Commercials, Films, and Websites, and he is also the lead vocalist, guitarist, and writer for the Rock band The Scrabble.
Charlie Valli's band The Scrabble released its first EP "Most Unlikely Often Happens" (Doubleminds Records, UK) in May 2009, under the production of Dave Timson (EMI). The band has enjoyed strong enthusiasm from both audiences and critics, leading to numerous interviews and music webzine/radio features (ROCKIT, Entrateparallele, Noize, XTM). In October 2009, the band completed their first video single directed by Matthew Bernardini, who directed Moby's video for "Ooh Yeah!," and they will be releasing their next album in early 2012 on two different labels.
