Nashville Session Players is comprised of 30+ Nashville session musicians and vocalists performing songs about poverty, politics, environmental issues, health care, education, discrimination, and other important issues. Writing in Country, Blues, Rock, RnB, Roots, Pop, Soul, Bluegrass, Folk, and Americana genres, they've received extensive airplay from the US to Europe. Many of their songs have charted well on the ECMA Top 100 in Europe, reaching as high as #1 on the Top 100, and several have been in the top five in the UK, Norway, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and France.
Artists who perform for Nashville Session Players also have their own outside independent music careers and are among the finest independent artists Nashville has to offer. Contributing musicians have lengthy resumes, performing for some of the biggest names in mainstream Country, Rock, Folk, Bluegrass, Pop, Americana and other genres. All tracks are recorded and mastered at professional studios. Nashville Session Players is currently a studio band only.
Unlike what one might expect being based in Tennessee, Nashville Session Players has no problem with addressing important political and social issues. We strongly believe in lyric and other freedom in music; our songs tend to touch various "buttons" on the right and left and in particular, are often aimed at political, social, and religious corruption. They also have a large selection of songs that are non-partisan.
Nashville Session Players released four 19+ song CDs, as well as several single releases. Three more CDs of various genre are currently in production.
