Michelle Lockey is an accomplished Singer-Songwriter from Maryland who writes endearing songs in the Indie, Pop, Rock, Folk, and Country genres. From the introspective mood of "Am I Invisible," to the fun and uplifting "Just Who I Am," her music has received great reviews from acclaimed songwriter Jason Blume, as well as widespread radio play. Michelle's work has also been featured in Good Girls Revolt, Longmire, Reign, The Path, a La Senza ad, and much more. Michelle gives back to the community by holding workshops to help others reach their goals


Michelle Lockey has become well respected in the industry of composing for Film and TV. Her long placement list includes the theme song for Gear Heads, prominent placement in Amazon Video’s Good Girls Revolt, songs in Reign, The Path, ABC Family’s The Fosters, USA's Benched, Longmire, CBS Inside the PGA, the CW Fall Promo, Weediquette, Tiny House Nation, and so much more. She has also won and placed in song contests: Grand Prize Winner The John Lennon Song Contest, 2013, Folk, the Mid Atlantic Song Contest Silver Winner, Pop, 2013, and more.

She has 4 album releases (self-released) and six singles released by Black Toast Music.

Michelle has created Licensing Songs Academy to help teach others how to write and license music for Film and TV.
