Based in Russia, composer and producer Gary Volnov specializes in Jazz, Funk, and Rock, but he also brings us beautifully emotive Dramatic and Classically-inspired music. From Fusion tunes with groovy jams and blistering improvisation, like "The Choice," to the lushly romantic strings and horns of "Night Rain," his tracks show great songwriting skill and solid production work. Gary has worked with Jazz guitar icon Larry Coryell and other renowned musicians like Marco Mendoza, Joel Taylor, Joey Heredia, Hernan Romero, and Mario Parmisano.
Gary Volnov was born and studied music in Tbilisi, Georgia, and his work combines European, American, and Eastern musical traditions. His Poetic Jazz Theater is a project that, relying on a generous budget and hard studio work, resulted in high-quality tracks on par with well-known pieces from Titanic, Godfather, or The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
