With a stunning face and beautiful voice, UK artist Meeshelle Newell is developing an exciting reputation as an emerging solo artist. Sitting comfortably within the Pop, Soul, Jazz and Funk arena, this charismatic flame-haired singer and performer is working with a dynamic group of songwriters and producers. Craig Charles of BBC6 Music remarked "what a singer we've got there" after seeing her perform live, and dance music DJ phenomenon Carl Cox recently invited Meeshelle and her band to perform at a private function for him and his guests.

Meeshelle Newell supported Candi Staton on the highland leg of her UK tour, and she is also renowned for her singing role fronting Funk-Soul outfit The Leonard Jones Potential. She is busy recording her first album, doing photo-shoots, and working hard on promotion.
