With the recent Afghanistan avalanches, help is needed more than ever! The Khaled Hosseini Foundation @tkhf’s Charitable Outreach video shows Afghanistan Refugees’ need for housing and assistance and features two Stock Music Site composers' music. Over 38 million copies have been sold of Mr. Hosseini’s runaway best-sellers, “#TheKiteRunner” and “#AThousandSplendidSuns,” which so achingly conveyed his love and admiration for his fellow countrymen’s resilience during continuing wars, invasions and occupations.
A client since 2012, Mr. Hosseini, an Afghan-born American novelist and physician, licensed these two cues that play on the Foundation's website, but licensed them anew as Buyouts for their next project, along with an additional Middle Eastern track by Michael Keck, entitled “Mothers and Children in Prayer.”

Ripped from the Headlines -- and Theatre at its Best! With Football in the headlines every day, shouldn't we be paying closer attention to the violence on the field, too? Berkeley Rep’s World Premier of "XsandOs (A Gridiron Love Story)” tackled “traumatic brain injuries” of NFL Players. The sobering truth is that each season many NFL players and young high school kids suffer debilitating concussions and brain injuries. Guaranteed to be controversial, the play shows how players all too often have given their lives for the gratification of fans and team owners’ pocketbooks.
Here, Writer and Documentarian KJ Sanchez (whose “ReEntry” was an explosive Off Broadway hit) and Jenny Mercein’s play is "...based on brutally honest and heartrending interviews with players, their families, and their fans about traumatic brain injuries and their impact on the game..." Directing the play will be Berkeley Rep's talented Tony Taccone.
