If Courtney Love had a threesome with Sid Vicious and a trashy drag queen in the dirty backstreets of Birmingham (UK), the sound of Drag would be their accidental lovechild. Addressing issues most other bands wouldn't touch--such as self-harm, mental health, and sexuality--without sacrifice or apology, Drag brings a deceptively hard-hitting theatrical performance to the stage. Being fronted by females adds a misleading innocence to their song content, but careful listening reveals a darker undertone to many of Drag’s performances.
