In concert, he radiates energy, and in life, he is a fellow truth seeker and artist. He plays his original tunes on acoustic guitars, and his edgy baritone vocals tell stories that connect with his audience. Bart is a music-making passionate artist that offers the energy and skill of four-decades-long guitar preparation, with a good helping of Blues and flavors of Americana, Gospel, and Pop mixed in.
Bart Vogel doesn’t separate his music from his personality, which means the most fun way to experience his craft is at gigs and in person. He is a family man, raising his kids with the music he creates. Often Bart would sit with his guitar in the lit hallway between his children's two dark rooms as they fell asleep, engrossed in his picking and connecting with his children through music. That same tenderness shines in some of his instrumental pieces and love songs now. Born in the '50s, Bart has been writing songs ever since he picked up his first guitar forty years ago.
