Joining us from South Africa, Mark Ellis is a professional musician, music teacher, and a first-class recording and mixing engineer. Composing and playing since 2006, his passion for exceptional music extends to film, theater, and adverts. Using vocals, guitar, bass, and saxophone, Mark shows his deep love for ambient and atmospheric sound but he also composes Rock, Blues, Hip Hop, and other genres. With his experience and knowledge of Electronic music production, Mark also creates SFX that are out of this world!
Mark Ellis has written and performed music for theatre and often performs as a session bassist. Besides solo work, Mark also regularly performs with five different groups, including Riku Latti, Durge (composer), The Gambles, Jake Gunn, Riaan Nieuwenhuis. Mark’s bands play a variety of genres including Hip Hop, Blues, Rock, Progressive Hard Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Adult Contemporary, and Afrikaans Alternative.
This track deals with the unknown and much of what we perceive as reality which in actuality is hidden from us under a false blanket of snow.
