Gentry Bronson is internationally known for his cinematic music, heart-on-your-sleeve songwriting, and passionate performances. His catalog boasts over 100 songs and compositions. His composition and songwriting styles include Alternative, Ambient, New Classical, Indie, New Age, Rock, Roots, Punk, Americana, Cabaret, Jazz, Blues, Experimental, and Meditation music. Gentry's song Santa Fe Sky was the closing track in the Indie feature film Roxie, which won the Best Feature at Bushwick Film Fest in New York.
Named by his parents after a hitchhiker, Gentry won early praise as a classical pianist, winning five Minnesota Music Teachers Association awards and performing in front of thousands of people as a child. He was a punk poet, singer, and composer in Seattle and an Acid Jazz, Drum ‘n’ Bass, and Dub DJ in Prague before moving to San Francisco, where he became a multi-media producer. After winning three Northern California Songwriters Association awards in 2001, he formed the band the Night Watchmen. He became a solo artist in 2006, and he formed his own Media and Creative consulting company in 2015. Hip Hop artist and VH1 reality show star John Brown featured Gentry on the single and video No Games. He has performed tours and concerts throughout the United States, Europe, and Mexico. His largest performance was at Oakland Coliseum. He's received airplay throughout the U.S. on Triple A and College radio, and he's been featured on Dutch Radio 2 and Radio 3 as well as performing live on AT5 television in Amsterdam and Oemroep television in Friesland.
